About Phoebe Jamaa Lodiong .

A Career Built Where People Decisions Matter .

From Technology To People

Twenty Years of Impact

Phoebe began her professional career with a foundation in Information Systems and Technology.

Working in technical support changed the direction of her career. She found that the part she valued most was not dealing with machines—it was helping the people using them.

That realization eventually moved her fully into Human Resources.

Her UNICEF journey began in South Sudan in 2006, first combining administration and HR before moving fully into Human Resources in 2008.

International Experience

Learning to Lead Across Boarders.

International work taught Phoebe an important lesson early: expertise does not remove the need to adapt.

Moving across South Sudan, Somalia, Lesotho, Venezuela, Syria and Afghanistan exposed her to different languages, workplace cultures, security environments and social expectations.

That experience now shapes how she approaches organizations.

Before introducing a people solution, understand the context.

Before assuming a policy failure, understand its execution.

Before changing a workforce, understand the people inside it.
